Try This: Grab Nuts

When the urge for a snack hits you like ton of bricks, say “no” to the bag of chips and go for a handful of nuts instead.

We know, a vending machine is close, easy, and filled with tempting snacks, but these snacks not only won’t satisfy your hunger void but will also leave you tired and irritable.

Nuts are packed with the stuff your body craves and needs like protein, fibre, good fats, vitamins and minerals.

Go for mixed nuts to get a variety of health boosting goodness, and if you can, opt for unsalted to cut back on your daily salt intake.

 

Quick Tip:

Head to the bulk store and get a bag to leave at work so you have something to munch on when your stomach starts a’growlin’.
