Pumpkin seeds happen to contain a ridiculous amount of zinc – and that right there is one good reason for you to go out and get yourself a pumpkin.

Besides that – they are easy to make and taste dangerously good when seasoned.


How to

  1. Clean the seeds
  2. Boil for 10 minutes in water with a dash of salt.
  3. Drain the seeds in a colander and dry lightly with a paper towel or tea towel
  4. Spread seeds onto a baking sheet and drizzle with a little extra virgin olive oil (about 1/2-1tsp) and season if that’s your thing
  5. Roast seeds at 325F for 10 minutes
  6. EAT!

Old Bay    Old Bay and Salt
