Dr. Evan Wood, MD

Dr. Evan Wood is an addiction medicine physician, professor of medicine and Canada Research Chair in Addiction Medicine based at the University of British Columbia. Dr. Wood has served in a range of not-for-profit and private sector roles including conducting research at UBC with funding from the Canadian Institutes of Health Research and the US National Institutes of Health, and previously worked with a mental health company called Numinus Wellness. Dr. Wood was the co-chair of the recently released Canadian Guideline on high risk drinking and alcohol use disorders.
